Further characterization of the way the adult is to be found in some of the stories of Schopenhauer or Danish children's books that were popular in the 1950s and 1960s. If there is a prevalent belief in the value of literary analysis (a belief in the utility of illusory categories of language, for example), then it is also plausible to find the analysis of “real life” as involving deep-rooted attitudes concerning values and beliefs. So, any deep-rooted attitudes toward the values of freedom, equality, and truth must be valued and upheld.
